![]() Similar to its eastern counterpart, Bladderfish, Rockgrubs and Titan Holefish Eggs are found inside the icebergs' moulins. One of them even requires a Spy Pengling to grab the Gold in it. There are rich Ore Veins inside the surface's caves. A Snowfox equipped with a Snowfox Hop Module is required to reach them.Īn Ion Cube can be found in a cave inside a hollow iceberg. Two Blue Trivalve Eggs can be found in a cave, on the surface. The seafloor also hosts small pockets of flora littered towards the northern portion of the biome, underneath the icebergs. Hope this Helps:) Show more Show more Subnautica: Below Zero. Large, rocky formations cover the seafloor of the West Arctic, including large boulders and large hill ranges. 86 7.2K views 1 year ago In this video I will show you How you can find the Tree Spires Biome in Subnautica Below Zero. ![]() The southern portion of the biome is absent of icebergs but supports multiple blooms of Eye Jellies under the waves. Both underwater and surface vegetation is much more common in the West Arctic than its eastern counterpart. The West Iceberg Zone's northern reaches are dominated by a sprawling collection of lively icebergs. The West Iceberg Zone is located in the southwest, and borders the Arctic Kelp Forest, Glacial Connection, Glacial Bay, Thermal Spires, Tree Spires, and World Edge. Once cut, the player will be able to swim up and out of the water into a cave containing Ore Veins filled with Magnetite and Diamond.īladderfish, Rockgrubs and Titan Holefish Eggs are found inside the large iceberg's cave system and in a moulin northeast of said iceberg. An Ice Bubble can be used nearby to replenish oxygen. If the player swims up the cave they'll find a sealed ice hole which must be cut with a Laser Cutter. There is a cave system found inside the largest iceberg in the biome, located East of the caldera. Glow Whales can be seen throughout most of the biome, alongside Arctic Rays and Titan Holefish. In the center of the caldera is a Ground Sampler. A Chelicerate patrols the caldera, however. ![]() This caldera appears to have since scarred the nearby landscape with small trenches and fissures in which many resources, such as Lithium, Ruby and Diamond, can be found as well as few Large Resource Deposits. The East Iceberg Zone seafloor is relativity similar to its western counterpart, apart from the large, resource-rich dormant caldera that can be found near the border with the Lilypad Islands. Various points of interest can be found on the icebergs here, with Marguerit's Greenhouse having been built on one, and another having a crashed Satellite built by The Architects. At the end of the cave, the player will find themselves within a short stretch of water in the southern portion of the Glacial Basin. The East Iceberg Zone is located in the northeast, bordering the Lilypad Islands, Purple Vents, Sparse Arctic, and World Edge. A ruined Architect installation containing one Ion Cube can be found near the end of the tunnel towards the Glacial Basin. Ribbon Plants sparsely populate this area. Certain geological features such as Hydrothermal Vents, Ice Bubbles, and Ore Veins can be found throughout this half of the biome. A notable feature about this half of the biome is the absence of Eye Jelly. The western portion of the Glacial Connection is lined with layers of fragmented blue ice, along with denser patches of seagrass. Numerous Eye Jelly eggs can be found midway through the area, as well as two narrow passages that lead to the western half of the biome. Radiant Sieve Corals are the biome's only source of illumination, alongside the Eye Jellies. The Tree Spire is also covered in Coral that may be feeding off of nutrients emitted by the Tree Spire. Each branch has a hole on top that emits a black smog-like substance similar to that emitted by Hydrothermal Spires. The biome's terrain is rocky, and patches of flora including seedless Creepvine and Violet Beaus dot the seafloor. 1 Appearance 2 Databank Entry 3 Gallery 4 Trivia Appearance The Tree Spire has many branches that stem from a single thick trunk. The eastern half of the biome starts as a large fissure below a glacier that slowly tightens towards the seabed. The cave is rather compact, making it difficult to navigate with the Seatruck, but it is possible. The Glacial Connection is a deep cave system located under the bigger glacier found in the western section of the map. It supports a handful of Arctic Kelp Forest flora and a bloom of Eye Jellies. The Glacial Connection is a deep, underwater cave biome beneath a large glacier, connecting the West Arctic to the Glacial Basin.
